How to setup pulse endpoint?

Transform Functions

Sometimes you may want to format pulse result before displaying it. For example, you may want to show pulse result "45000" as "45K" instead. To do that you can use transform functions to perform additional formatting.

Approximate

Precision needs to be specify to determine how precise you want approximation to be.

  • If precision is 1, we will convert from 45200 to 40K
  • If precision is 2, we will convert from 45200 to 45K

Round Down

Precision needs to be specify to determine how precise you want round down to be.

  • If precision is 1, we will convert from 45200 to 40000
  • If precision is 2, we will convert from 45200 to 45000

Thousands Separator

Use thousands separator to convert from  45200 to 45,200.

Prefix

You can use prefix to add additional characters before pulse result. For example, from  45200 to $45200.

Suffix

You can use prefix to add additional characters after pulse result. For example, from  45200 to 45200 users.

You can add multiple functions and they will be executed in order. For example, Roundown (with precision 2) followed by Thousands Separator will transform 52555 to 52,000.
